Industrial Quality Manager Austin, TX

C&C North America, Inc. has an opening in Austin, TX for an Industrial Production Quality Manager. Design and implement Global Quality Plan (Master Plan) and Control and Management Systems to ensure quality in the production of products at all workshops. Ensure development of the Global Quality Plan with input from workshop management. Monitor performance of quality control systems to ensure effectiveness and efficiency. Review quality documentation necessary for regulatory submissions and inspections. Analyze quality control test results and provide feedback and interpretation to production management or staff. Participate in the development of product specifications. Identify quality problems or areas for improvement and recommend solutions. Collect and analyze production samples to evaluate quality. Monitor development of new products to help identify possible problems for mass production. Identify critical points in the manufacturing process and specify sampling procedures to be used at these points. Create and implement inspection and testing criteria or procedures. Document testing procedures, methodologies, or criteria. Coordinate the selection and implementation of quality control equipment, such as inspection gauges. Generate and maintain quality control operating budgets. Full requirements: Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent foreign degree, and at least two years of experience in production and stone manufacturing for an international producer and manufacturer of natural stone, quartz and architectural surfaces. Experience must include the following: (1) quality control for production and stone manufacturing; (2) design and implementation of process standardization; (3) preparation and analysis of quality control and continuous improvement reports. This position requires travel - up to 80% of time - to company sites in Lauderhill, FL; Raleigh, NC;  Atlanta, GA; Fairfield, NJ; Mundelein, IL; Mendota Heights, MN; Austin, TX; Lake Dallas,TX; Houston, TX; and Albuquerque, NM.
