The Builder Account Manager will be responsible for cultivating a territory by developing demand in the market place, as well as acquiring new and maintaining current customers through the sales and promotion of Cosentino products. 

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

Attend and assist with industry related events, i.e. tradeshows, NKBA, ASID, AIA, NARI, amongst other promotional events 

Develop and maintain current product knowledge to present to customers 

Work with General Manager and Sales Team to execute business strategy for all customer segments in the area (home centers, K&B, Fabricators, etc.) 

Ensure customers have adequate marketing materials to support sales, including samples, brochures, and other collateral supplies, such as display towers 

Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from field activities  Gather market intelligence and provide data to General Manager 

Manage customer relationships by resolving client concerns, ensuring customers are set up in CRM System, providing price quotes, scheduling weekly visits, etc. 

Increase market share by elevating the number of displays and point-of-purchase materials within assigned territory 

Present and sell company products and services to current and potential clients within the remodel, home improvement, cabinet makers, builders, and fabrication 

Prepare action plans to identify specific targets and to project the number of contacts to be made 

Responsible for overall sales of the assigned territory   

Collaborate with Cosentino Corporate staff, Cosentino Center staff, and other Account Managers as needed to accomplish goals

Develop, establish, and grow relationships with all targeted builder accounts by cold calling, scheduling appointments, and meeting with potential and existing builders, their purchasing agents, designer and sales teams in order to secure long term business relationships

Track and understand each builder account business and our value proposition to their fabricating supplier and their customer

Establish builder profiles with key contacts by prioritizing activities to obtain, recapture and retain their business

Continuously liaising between the company, the builder, and the fabricators for up-to-date conditions on pricing, services and latest product releases, and introductions

Evaluate and negotiate point of sale positioning in model homes, design centers, and showrooms

Other duties as assigned


 2 years experience with customer database, Salesforce preferred  

4 years of sales or field merchandising experience 

High School Diploma/GED required, Bachelor’s degree preferred 

Must have valid driver license with a clean driving record. Ability to drive company vehicle 80% of time to customers within territory 

Some overnight travel may be required depending on business needs 

Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
