What are we looking for

At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for an Accounts Receivable Analyst to join our Corporate Office located in Coral Gables. The Centers are an example of Cosentino’s total commitment to its clients, providing them with exclusive and high-quality service. The Centers combine the functions of the (a) warehouse, (b) brand and product showroom, and (c) sales network.

What you will do

Under the direction of the Accounts, the Receivable Analyst will be responsible for accounts receivable activities

Using SAP as the main tool the main goals but not limited to will be:
•    Handle accounts receivable for Cosentino North America.
•    Follow, maintain and enforce company credit-AR policies and procedures.
•    Perform day-to-day financial transactions, including posting and applying for incoming payments, as well as applying credit memos.
•    Reconcile accounts by identifying discrepancies and resolving clients billing issues.
•    Analyze and monitor accounts due debts to help improve accounts’ revenue cycle and identify opportunities to improve.
•    Reviewing, preparing, and analyzing A/R aging reports.
•    Facilitate payment of invoices due by sending bill reminders and contacting customers directly.
•    Reconcile the accounts receivable ledger to ensure that all payments are accounted for and properly posted.
•    Maintain local relationships with centers. Recurrent communication with operations teams (CSRs and Operations Managers) at the centers
•    Develop and maintain strong relationships with RD’s, General Managers, and Sales Departments to assist in collecting from customers directly.
•    Assist the Accounts Receivable Supervisor as needed.

What you need to succeed

EXPERIENCE
Required
•    2- 3 years of accounts receivable, billing, finance, or other related experience
Desired

•    Experienced in conflict resolution 

EDUCATION
Required
•    High School Diploma/GED

Desired 
•    Bachelor’s Degree in Business or a related field

KNOWLEDGE
Required
•    SAP or similar ERP
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word)

Desired
•    Lien laws
•    Financial Statements Analysis
•    Accounts Receivable
•    Collection Agencies
