What will you be doing?

The accounts payable Clerk is responsible for performing accounting and clerical tasks related to the efficient maintenance and processing of accounts payable transactions.


•    Manage Utilities accounts, it includes setup auto pay or cancel utilities autopay.
•    Prepare analysis of utilities accounts
•    Manage invoices; this includes, but is not limited to, reviewing, categorizing exceptions by type and location, and resolving any discrepancies.
•    Process urgent payments tasks and  request manual checks or ACH payments
•    Managed AP mailbox, review and identify urgent request, reply to the vendors and internal customers about payment inquiries or other AP concerns.
•    Verifies vendor accounts by reconciling monthly statements and related transactions
•    Monitor daily mail, this includes receiving, opening, scanning and validating incoming mail into Accounts Payable image workflow software.
•    Provide various performance and productivity matrices.
•    Other duties as instructed

What are we looking for?

EXPERIENCE
•    ERP- SAP knowledge is required
•    At least 1 year of accounts payable and general accounting experience.
•    Knowledge of accounts payable
•    Knowledge of general accounting procedures
•    Ability to work with large organizations
•    Manufacturing/ Retail experience is a plus

EDUCATION
•    High School diploma/ GED is required
•     AA degree or higher is a plus

SKILLS
•    Proficient in data entry and document management
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
•    Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize
•    Attention to detail and accuracy
•    Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
•    Bilingual (English/ Spanish) is a plus
•    Problem-solving skills
