What do we expect from you?

The Business Analyst will be part of the Strategy & Transformation Department Cosentino North America Corporate office. Supporting mainly the US and Canada markets, and also working on global projects with the headquarter team in Spain, assisting the different departments on specific projects and working on the definition and implementation of the Strategic Plan of North America, ensuring the alignment with the Group.
 

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Support the Business Analyst Associate on quarterly sales territory analysis in North America and be able to do the analysis when required
  • Research and evaluation of new databases and potential new accounts to increase the business
  • Lead the North America Strategic Plan definition, development, analysis and presentation, in coordination with all the areas of the company ensuring the alignment with the Group (workshops, forecasts, opportunities of improvement and investments plan)
  • Market and competitors analysis 
  • Lead the definition and implementation of local and global projects (mainly the strategic projects) as required
  • Analysis and recommendations of improvement of processes to increase profitability and efficiency of the company 
  • Assist on punctual analysis depending on the business needs
  • Support the Business Analyst Associate on quarterly sales territory analysis in North America and be able to do the analysis when required
  • Research and evaluation of new databases and potential new accounts to increase the business
  • Other tasks as assigned by management

Qualifications/Certifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Economics, Business Administration, Engineering, or similar field required; Master’s degree is preferred

What knowledge do you need?

Between 3-5 years in corporate development or business consulting background

What do you need to be successful in the role?

  • Microsoft Office (Proficiency in Excel and Power Point is a must)
  • Experience with web-based programs or ability to learn fast (Salesforce, SAP,…)
  • Team building and customer oriented, used to work in a diverse environment
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Self-demanding and reliable
  • Proactive
  • Strong organization, used to work under pressure, with multiple projects and short deadlines
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Language: English is required, bilingual in Spanish is a plus

Availability to travel, local and international, even though this will not be more than 10% of the time
