What do we expect from you?

The Commercial Project Manager is responsible to assist in planning, coordinate, and supervise the installation commercial projects from beginning to the end. This job includes monitoring the installation process according to schedule and contracts compliance. This role will also oversee more than one project national wide and should maximize profitability promoting Stone Systems objectives and goals, meeting quality and safety standards as well as meeting customer expectations. This profile is well-suited to people who have proactivity, analytical mindset and great organizational skills.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:
  • Be involved in the initiation phase by attending meetings to review contract with Legal, Commercial Dept and SSI location ensuring compliance.
  • Work closely with Project Managers in corporate in the definition of the schedule of values (SOV’s) among others during the planning phase.
  • Gather and follow up with main processes required by Client such as:
    • Insurances
    • Safety
    • Payroll
    • Billing requirement besides AIG form (like Textura registration, extra docs required at time of pay application, etc)
  • Create and execute Safety and Compliance Plan (OSHA, CRA, SBE, etc.).
  • Support defining Construction Schedule – receive, understand and start using SSI Install Management Package.
  • Plan staff needed and material during each phase of the project.
  • Responsible for administrative tasks such as:
    • Ownership of CTS Monitor in SAP
    • Follow up with SSI locations on status of project including data entry in Job Tracker
    • Pay application and billing cycle submittal according to contract
    • Review with finance any concerns of container billing delay/necessity of accruals
  • Coordinate communication with all SSI team members and maintain project documents fully updated.
  • Monitor installation execution vs schedule plan – update when needed and re-direct in case of deviation.
  • Ensure closing final project with close out documents and final financial report
  • Other tasks as assigned by management
What knowledge do you need?
  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in a Project Manager role
  • High School diploma/GED required, Associates Degree in Business a plus
  • Experience with SAP and Job Tracker preferred
  • Commercial construction experience required
  • Proficiency in Excel
  • Stone, industrial, and manufacturing industry experience a plus
