What will you be doing?

As a Credit and Collections Supervisor you are going to be responsible for:

  • Manage team members to maximize collection of delinquent accounts, ensure proper postings to customer accounts, and achieve proper credit control
  • Supervisory responsibilities include distribution of workload, credit approval review, open receivables management, performance monitoring and coaching, and process improvement Maintain, implement, and enforce credit policies and procedures
  • Establish credit limits and terms
  • Hold weekly account reviews with each team member
  • Prepare monthly Accounts Receivable status reports
  • Calculate allowance for bad debt and post related entries  

 

What are we looking for?

EXPERIENCE
Required

  • Between 3-5 years of collections experience desired.

Desired

  • Minimum 2 years of management experience
  • Collaboration with Internal and External Auditors
  • Bad Debt and Credit Insurance Expense Budget Plan Management

 

EDUCATION
Required

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related field


KNOWLEDGE

  • Required
  • Lien laws
  • Credit Insurance Companies
  • Collection Agencies
  • Financial Statements Analysis
  • SAP
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office
     

SKILLS

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and ability to interact and build relationships within the organization and with customers
  • Ability to manage/lead in a high-volume environment
  • Team builder
  • Ability to analyze credit worthiness for existing and new customers
  • Ability to work independently, effectively, and efficiently
  • Experienced in conflict resolution
  • Ability to train employees when needed
