What will you be doing?

The Corporate EH&S Specialist is responsible to support the planning, developing, implementing & organizing our Corporate Environmental, Health & Safety Program & related components. This includes coordinating & support on the completion of program-related activities including conducting employee EH&S Compliance Training, Safety Committee Meetings, Job Hazard Analysis & Site Safety Inspections as needed throughout the entire organization, regular site visits to ensure compliance with regulatory environmental and safety requirements.


Job Expectations


  • Support on the development, implementation and monitoring compliance with federal and state EHS regulations and Cosentino EHS global policies.
  • Regularly tour fabrication, distribution, hub, and office facilities throughout the U.S., Canada, and Mexico to ensure all locations are in compliance with EH&S laws, regulations, and policies.
  • Support the efforts to define gaps in performance (re: audit findings and internal assessments) and recommend appropriate training or functional corrective actions for the company.
  • Manage complex EHS job functions for duties such as job safety analyses/risk assessments, EHS training, workplace incident analyses, industrial hygiene evaluations, EHS inspections, environmental regulatory reporting, permit negotiation, data collection/analysis and internal audits.
  • Support and facilitate the development of a sustainable ergonomic program involving multifunctional staff participation.
  • Evaluates new hazardous materials to ensure compliance in EHS requirements and facility procedures.  
  • Support EHS reviews of new product development, facility modification, product manufacturing modifications, and new equipment/machinery installations.
  • Serve as a support resource for all EH&S related committees throughout the organization; coordinate and facilitate activities of the Safety Committee.
  • Work together with our EH&S HQ management in Spain to coordinate efforts with the Cosentino Group.
What are we looking for?




  • Minimum 2 years of professional experience managing or working closely with Environmental, Health & Safety issues in a multi-state manufacturing and distribution environment.
  • Working experience with Federal and State environmental, safety and health laws and regulations, including OSHA, EPA, DOT, ISO, and Ergonomic Practices.  Canadian and Mexico regulatory knowledge would be a plus.
  • Demonstrated experience managing and driving multiple projects, processes & people with good delegating skills.




  • Certified Safety Professional or other similar Professional Safety Designation like the Associate Risk Manager.
  • OSHA Authorized General Industry Safety Outreach Trainer - (Ability to immediately acquire designation).



  • Proven knowledge in applying EH&S Regulatory laws & related policies, standards, and objectives sufficient to develop and maintain a strong culture of safety throughout the organization to minimize losses & maintain strict compliance



  • Communication: Oral & Written. Capacity to interact with multiple levels within all faces with commercial industry projects.
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Computer skills: Office Suite, CRM system (e.g  SalesForce)
