What are we looking for
At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Fleet Manager to join our Purchasing and Facility Department, located in Coral Gables, FL, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.
What you will do
As a Fleet Manager you would be part of the team in charge of the indirect sourcing and purchasing services, materials, equipment, and supplies of Cosentino activities. Ensure the company makes wise purchase decisions, optimizing cost, quality, and logistics considerations. This role also serves as purchasing liaison for all general corporate departments.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the day-to-day function with company fleet vehicles. Procure vehicle/equipment information with departments in accordance with department needs and budget. Communicate with vendors to ensure accuracy with the company vehicles & truck relating to incidents, maintenance or any open items drivers may need. FMCSA & DOT Experience with Regulations and Rules. Work with Insurance carrier on accident claims.
- Administration and coordination of the organization's fleet of motor vehicles: Prepare and maintain accurate records of vehicles and required regulatory filings and reporting. Also ensure compliance with government rules and regulations. Helping to accomplish the yearly budgets and operating cost. May also be responsible for assisting together with the Fleet Management 3rd party partner in all the incidents or needs that drivers could have.
- Review internal customer requests. Especially working close with the different Staff department and Distribution and fabrication business in order to improve the productivity, service and cost
What you need to succeed
EXPERIENCE
Required:
- 5+ years of experience in Fleet Management, especially FMCSA & DOT Experience
- 5+ years of experience in National companies, international experience will be considered.
EDUCATION
Required:
- High School Diploma/GED
Desired:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field
KNOWLEDGE
Required:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
Desired:
- ERP SAP

- Analytical and proactive

The starting range for this position is $80,000.
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

You will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the month.
Paid time off:
Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company’s policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
