What do we expect from you?

The Production Manager is responsible for coordinating and monitoring the activities of the shop, Fabrication Team, Carry out action plans, and tracking targets in the area in order to achieve daily productivity standards in a safe manner while maintaining the required quality standards.

Manage and work closely with machine operators to help determine production flow and procedures to enable the business to run efficiently and profitably while maintaining high levels of quality control.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

  • Responsible for daily delegation of all fabrication tasks and hit daily productivity schedule of finished product measured in square feet per man in fabrication
  • Effectively and efficiently work with scheduling to ensure schedule is balanced and met on a daily basis
  • Effectively and efficiently communicate and delegate work to ship personnel to ensure schedule is met on a daily basis
  • Make recommendations to HR on hiring and terminating shop personnel
  • Interview and evaluate applicants for job openings
  • Assure all of his/her subordinates follow all of the safety policies and procedures
  • Keep an organized clean shop
  • Responsible for maintenance of all shop equipment and delegate shop maintenance and cleaning on a daily, weekly, monthly basis
  • Responsible for accurate and efficient consumables usage and order submissions so shop does not run out and work with General Manager to place orders


  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • A Bachelor’s Degree in Business or related fields is preferred
  • Lean Manufacturing certification is a plus

What knowledge do you need?

  • Water Treatment Technologies water system knowledge (operation and maintenance) is a plus
  • SAP knowledge is a plus

What do you need to be successful in the role?

  • 4-5 years of experience in Stone or Solid Surface Manufacturing prefered
  • Minimum 3 years of experience managing a manufacturing team
  • Proven experience to lead & coach people for maximum efficiency and results
