We are looking for a PROJECT MANAGER to join our Fabrication Center. You will join a company:

What will you be doing?

As a Project Manager you will be responsible for managing all day-to-day activities for a large scale commercial countertop installation project.  Additionally you will be responsible for managing timelines, budgets, and work force to ensure the project is delivered on-time and on budget. 

In this role your function would be to ensure the efficient and timely installation of our products. Site position will require to be on site 100% of the time.

Project based position.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage all day-to-day activities on the jobs site
  • Ensuring all work on-site is completed to company quality standards
  • Ensure that all work completed onsite is to safety standards
  • Managing all timelines for the project and ensuring that the project is completed on-time
  • Main point of contact for the both the GC and the install crews
  • Conduct Weekly Meetings with the install teams to review the current state of the project. 
  • Conduct Weekly project update meeting with Stone systems Team
  • Generating and maintaining meeting minuets from weekly meetings
  • Attend Weekly meetings with GC
  • Tracking material delivery and scheduling deliveries if additional material is needed
  • Track the progress of all aspects of the project
  • Manage 3-week forecast of the project, and determine necessary work force size
  • Creating and Manage the punch list
What are we looking for?

EXPERIENCE
Required

  • 5 years experience working in Construction or other building trades
  • 2+ years of Project Management of commercial projects. 

Desired

  • 5 years of experience managing subcontractors
  • 5 years of experience working with Stone.


EDUCATION
Required 

  • High School Diploma/GED

Desired

  • 4 year college degree in Construction Management, Engineering or other appliable degrees. Or 5+ years of industry experience

 

KNOWLEDGES

Required

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.) 
  • Basic understanding of how to read construction prints and scopes, and be able to apply to jobsite
  • Must have strong working knowledge of common stone materials (Natural and engineered materials) and the different installation methods. 
  • Must be able to spot imperfections on work; close visual inspection required
  • Basic math skills (adding, subtracting, measuring, etc.)
