Project Field Manager South Florida

What are we looking for

At Stone Systems (www.stone-systems.com) we are looking for a Project Field Manager for our Shop located in South Florida, who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

What you will do

The responsibility of the Project Field Manager is to manage all aspects of the installation of finishes consisting of Countertops, Tile, Wall Cladding, and Flooring for commercial/large-scale residential construction projects. In addition, the following responsibilities 

•    Ensure a high level of service is provided to internal and external customers.
•    Coordinating with general contractors and other trades while adhering to the completion Schedule of applicable work
•    Understanding & Managing Construction Project Lifecycle. 
•    Ability to manage varying size projects ranging in size from $50,000 to Multi-Millions.
•    Manage independent install contractors on construction sites.
•    Responsible for the day-to-day activity for large scale commercial projects. 
•    Managing multiple crews on-site, ensuring a high-quality outcome of work. 
•    Managing Installation to ensure they are up to customer standards. 
•    Supervise the installations and coordinating the delivery and storage of materials. 
•    Overseeing and inspecting installs to make sure that install is done with the highest quality.
•    Maintaining a safe work environment for all and ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
•    Communicating with the client about any onsite issues that Will affect the completion of the project.
•    Communicate the status of the building project to the client by providing regular progress reports
•    Strong multitasking, time management, and organizational skills.
•    Excellent communication and documentation skills

Professional Experience
Required
•    Experience in construction; including flooring, cabinet, and countertops.
•    Must be able to work in fast-paced environments.
•    Strong Problem-solving skills.
•    Strong oral and written communication skills.

This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or awkward. 

Academical Background
Qualifications
•    GED or 5+ years of applicable experience. Preferred 4-year college Construction-related degree.
Preferred
•    Bilingual (Spanish/English)
