Transportation Specialist - La Porte, TX

What are we looking for

At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Transportation Specialist located in La Porte, TX who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

What you will do

• Secure Carriers for the transport of company materials across North America.
• Process shipments in SAP and Enterprise TMS.
• Track and Trace shipments through TMS to provide accurate ETAs.
• Process carrier invoices and create purchase orders as needed for Carrier payment.
• Any other duties as assigned by the Logistics Management.

What you need to succeed

EXPERIENCE
Desired:

• Minimum 2 years experience in a similar role

EDUCATION
Required: 

• High School Diploma

Desired: 

• Degree / Technical Diploma from a recognized institution 
• Any equivalent combination of experience and/or education from which comparable knowledge, skills, and abilities have been achieved can be considered.

KNOWLEDGE
Required:  

• Experience with a Transportation Management System 
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office

Desired: 

• SAP experience.
