We are looking for a Quality Control Operator to join our Fabrication Center. You will join a company:

What will you be doing?

As a Quality Process Operator, you will:

  • Oversee the fabrication process to guarantee that all our products meet the Standard Operations Procedures (SOP) 
  • Reduce the number of remakes and reprocesses on the fabrication side through the implementation of good practices and quality inspection all the way from the warehouse area to the shipping area
  • Reject all the products and materials that fail to meet the quality expectations of the company and help the production team and Production Manager to find solutions  
  • Work closely with the production team to minimize the scrap and increase the Short Slab utilization
  • Report the numbers into the Production software in order to get root cause analysis
  • Ensure employees are working with the right tooling, cleaning products, equipment and under proper safety conditions
  • Teach the production team about quality control concerns to improve product excellence 

What are we looking for?

EXPERIENCE
Required:

  • A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role 
  • Background in the Stone Industry

EDUCATION
Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent qualification 

KNOWLEDGE
Required:

  • Knowledge of stone surface materials (Granite, Natural Stone, Quartz, Porcelain)
  • Background in CAD and technical drawing interpretation 
  • Ability to work with tools (grinders, polishers, suction cups, etc.) is a must
