What are we looking for


At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a National A&D Project Specialist for our corporate team in Miami, FLwho will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.

What you will do


As the National A&D Project Specialist, you will be responsible for managing and growing the multifamily commercial business. This will include working with and leveraging our extensive commercial team of ADSMs and GMs across North America as needed where your local relationships create North America. 
 
In this role your function will be to ensure the sustainable growth of the commercial business, working to determine what influencers to target in North America, what specific accounts will require your direct attention, and providing direction and support to the local ADSMs and GMs that will work most of the local commercial projects, as well as maintain the local account relationships that will drive the commercial business for Cosentino.    
 

Job Expectations

  • Develop and execute strategies to increase sales of Cosentino products, margins, and ensure we hit the national sales budget.
  • Take responsibility and collaborate in internal and external strategies to approach and develop this segment.
  • Develop, establish, and grow relationships with targeted commercial accounts by cold calling, scheduling appointments, and meeting with potential and existing GC/developers/fabricators/millworkers/tile installers/hospitality/modular/healthcare/corporate accounts, their purchasing agents, designers, and sales teams to secure long-term business relationships.
  • Provide first support to A&Ds and GMs to grow existing business (agreements) and identify brand new opportunities in NA.
  • Track and understand each large commercial account and our value proposition to their fabricating supplier and their customers.
  • Establish commercial profiles with key contacts by prioritizing activities to obtain, recapture, and retain their business.
  • Coach and develop team members with a focus on inspiring others to achieve their highest potential.
  • Work with RCM and RFM to ensure each ADSM is getting the proper support for all potential opportunities.
  • Communicate product features and their influence within each account regionally, and provide input on achievable but challenging sales goals for our commercial team on a yearly basis with respect to multifamily commercial business development.
  • Own the applications sales development portion connected to the multifamily commercial business for North America.
  • Determine key commercial accounts that work on the multifamily business and personally ensure our team or yourself are effectively growing these relationships, with the end goal of showing that Cosentino is being specified and sold on the jobs they are working.
  • Take a leadership role in multifamily commercial-related marketing events/shows, ensuring effective follow-up of leads from these events.
  • Ensure all safety policies and procedures are being followed.
  • Collaborate with local, regional, and national peers to assure the highest level of segment penetration and customer satisfaction.
  • Assist in the development of the annual sales and marketing plan for the segment.
  • Manage and review account reports monthly with the Commercial Project Director.
  • Document activity and account progress utilizing the Salesforce CRM system.

What you need to succeed

 

EXPERIENCE 

Desired 
•    3+ Years of Sales Experience in the commercial industry 

EDUCATION 

Required  
•    Undergraduate degree from an accredited University or College (BS or BA) 

Desired 
•    Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field. 

KNOWLEDGE

Required 
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)  
•    Salesforce Proficiency  

Desired 
•    Ability to read blue-prints and understand the Cut to size process. 
•    Construct Connect Insight or similar

Wage Range:

The Starting salary for this position is between $70,000-  $75,000 annually. 

Factors that may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate. 

This position is also eligible Potential Annual Award (Bonus) depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, including Medical, Dental, and Vision Insurance, Short-term and Long-term Disability and Basic Life and Supplemental Insurance. You will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the month.
 

Paid time off:

Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company’s policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
