¿Cuáles serían tus funciones?

The Area Manager is responsible for strengthening and building a regional team in the following core competencies areas: Management, Sales, Customer Service, and Administration. The Area Manager is responsible for managing multiple distributors in different countries, coordinating and monitoring the activities of the team, executing global and market initiatives, and tracking targets in their area in order to achieve employee development and successful financial results in the Region.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

  • Liaison for direct reports between Corporate Office and distributors by ensuring they receive information and tools from Corporate and other resources that are necessary to implement strategy
  • Responsible for Analysis, positioning, and executing in the builder, retailer, and commercial market segments
  • Coordination and alignment of Regional personnel to ensure they are performing their duties
  • Ability to understand and interpret a balance sheet, income statement, and development of a business plan
  • Work with the team to develop and adhere to annual Budgets 
  • Focus promotional efforts on point of purchase displays; vignettes and samples
  • Grow sales and distribution of all product lines in your area
  • Lead the regional leadership team through an annual goals process 
  • Manage, monitor, and evaluate the results of the distributor's growth and degree of achievement of the planned goals (billing, overall efficiency, profitability by product, contained commercial segment, exposure outlets, etc.) 
  • Marketing and co-advertising based on the region for all brands with corporate coordination
  • Maximize synergies between commercial and promotional opportunities
  • Participates in regional leadership team conference calls/meetings throughout the year
  • Perform market prospection and opportunity identification
  • Prepare all reports required, including annual budget reports, monthly regional updates, and an end of term report for the incoming ECM meetings
  • Engage in regional relationships with industry partners and ensure Distributors are embracing local chapters.
  • Ensure distributors have appropriate sales coverage for all segments (K&B, Home centers, Fabricators, Commercial, Builder)
  • Penetrate each segment with all products (A = Retail, B = reseller, C= Fabricator, D= Factory)
  • Develop a regional relationship with Builders
  • Hold monthly meetings with each distributor to review progress and needs
  • Help ensure distributors are implementing and following Cosentino safety regulations, as well as those required by various government organizations 
  • Support the distributors in identifying and evaluating business opportunities
  • Train, coach, and develop team members to achieve consistent and sustainable growth  
  • Other duties as assigned

Required: 

  • 4 years of experience managing business units. 
  • 2 years of experience managing teams.

Desired:

  • Minimum 7-10 years of experience managing business units and teams.

EDUCATION
Required:

  • Bachelor Degree

Desired:

  • MBA is a plus

KNOWLEDGE
Required:

  • Ability to read and understand financial statements – general accounting rules. Knowledge of distribution processes and how they relate to cost and process efficiencies

Required:

  • Spanish

SKILLS
Required:

  • Advanced computers skills Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook Internet Explorer, SAP
