What do we expect from you?

Working with us a Showroom Manager you will be responsible for managing the day to day running of the showroom, ensuring that our showroom is visually merchandises and that the highest level of Customer Service is always given. The Showroom manager is responsible for making sure the showroom operates in an efficient manner and that attracts customers.

Your Key Responsibilities will be:

Coordinating and monitoring the activities of the team, protecting the integrity of the level of services our customers receive and keeping a close eye on which ones of our products are selling better to keep a good track of our sales will be part of your routine. Going more granular, you will work on different fronts:

 

Sales

 

  • Responsible for driving commercial sales across the area, as well as partnering with local ADSMs and AMs to close sales.
  • Manage and motivate Design Sales team to grow sales and distribution of all the center’s affiliated company’s product lines in the area.
  • Develop and build relationships with key architects and designers in the area.
  • Manage key customers in the area: planning, visits, development of the relationship, sales, etc.

 

Business Development

 

  • Define the strategies, priorities and frameworks (commercial, promotional activity, marketing, management, reporting, etc.)
  • Coordinate and align branch personnel to ensure they are performing their duties.
  • Support the team in identifying and evaluating business opportunities, this includes tracking competitor activity.
  • Maximize the synergy between commercial and promotional opportunities.

 

Business Intelligence

  • Market and co-advertise based on region for all brands with corporate coordination, this includes focusing promotional efforts on point of purchase displays (vignettes and samples)
  • Manage National Account relationships and compliance.
  • Analyze, position and execute business in the builder, K&B, A&D, retailer and commercial market segments.
  • Review processes on an ongoing basis and make recommendations to improve efficiency and service levels.
  • Responsible for ensuring Health and Safety procedures and safeguards are enforced at the showroom.
 

 

Qualifications/Certifications:

Required

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field

Desired

  • Master’s degree

 

 

What knowledge do you need?

Required:

  • Ability to report on sales activity, expenses, inventory and accounting
  • Proven success in sales, marketing, customer service and business operations

 

Desired

  • Building materials market
 

What do you need to be successful in the role?

Required

  • 5+ experience in sales
  • 2+ years of proven capacity to interact with multiple levels within all faces with commercial industry projects.
