What are we looking for
At Stone Systems (www.stone-systems.com) we are looking for a Installation Manager for our Shop located in Fairfield, NJ who will have the opportunity to work in a multinational environment, in full expansion, surrounded by numerous challenging projects that you can be part of.
What you will do
As an Installation Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring that every customer order is accurately measured and installed. This position must make sure product requirements are properly translated to production correctly and on time, scheduling and overseeing the installation of our products.
Your daily tasks on this position would include supervise the tasks of the Install Supervisors, our contract Measurers and Installers and guarantees that the capacity matches production to ensure quality and meet customer deadlines. Going more granular, you willâ¦
- Be responsible for all safety related duties regarding both measuring and installation
- Lead subcontracted teams in order to complete given project by established deadlines.
- Manage Install Supervisors and their specific segment to ensure quality and that deadlines are met.
- Train and manage the certification process of our contractors.
- Coordinate with production and customer service to plan and schedule install and measure crew per project
- Inspect on an intermittent basis the output of both installs and measure crews
- Site walk-through and planning for installation process
- Instruct crews on proper use of materials and quality
- Review integration documents to ensure documentation is accurate
- Ensure each subcontractor is certified and trained on our process and standards
- Resolve customer issues and problems encountered by installation and measure
- Perform minor job repairs when needed
- Collaborate and manage workflow with Fabrication Leads
- Perform On-sight installation supervision/management
- Act as a backup when needed to both measure and installation projects Audit remakes attributed to both installation and measure errors
- Communicate daily with clients and vendors regarding measure/installation process
- Schedule internal and external project team meetings - as needed.
- Be responsible for ensuring Health and Safety procedures and safeguards are enforced for both subcontracted groups
What you need to succeed
EXPERIENCE
Required
- 2+ years of relevant work experience as an Installer Manager
Desired
- 1+ year(s) of work experience in the stone industry
EDUCATION
Required
- High School Diploma/GED
KNOWLEDGE
Required
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
SKILLS
Required
- Capability to multitask and work in an extremely fast paced environment
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capability to use power tools effectively
- Capability to lift and carry up to 75lbs.
This job requires intermittent periods during which continuous physical exertion is required, such as walking, standing, stooping, climbing, lifting material or equipment, some of which may be heavy or uncomfortable.

Wage Range:
The annual Starting salary for this position is between $70,000-$80,000 annually.
Factors which may affect starting pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
This position is also eligible Potential Annual Award depending on individual performance and Company performance, in accordance with the terms of the Company’s plan.

You will also be eligible to enroll in our 401(k) Retirement Plan, starting the first of the month.
Paid time off:
Vacation time will be accrued monthly and will be subject to change per the Company’s policy updates. 5 days of sick time. Full-time employees will receive 2 floating holidays to use each year. If hired after July 1, employees receive 1 floating holiday to use for that calendar year.
