Billing Specialist Toluca, CDMX

What are we looking for

We are looking for a Billing Specialist to join our Fabrication team located in Toluca, CDMX.

What you will do

As a Billing Clerk you would be responsible for reviewing the billing packet from each location and verify that all information is accurate. This role is also responsible for making sure all purchase orders are closed and billing is processed. 

•    Auditing and completing daily the billing review. 
•    Reporting on a daily, weekly and monthly basis with analysis. 
•    Auditing of accuracy on each job processed.
•    Working closely with Pricing team to report and identify any system discrepancies on pricing.
•    Closing PO’s (Purchase Orders) or other forms of submission to initiate payment.
•    Mailing/emailing invoices to customers as well as monthly statements.
•    Communicating closely with local sites/customer service team on any missing data as well as any shortages on revenue vs month estimate. 
•    Assist in payment applications to customers and SOV (Schedule of Values) management
•    Assist in month end closing. 
•    Other tasks as assigned by management.

What you need to succeed

EXPERIENCE
Required
•    1+ years of experience in accounts payable/billing
•    Knowledge of general accounting procedures. 
•    Knowledge of auditing procedures.

EDUCATION
Required 
•    High School Diploma/GED
Desired
•    AA degree or higher is a plus

KNOWLEDGE
Required
•    Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, etc.)
•    Data Entry
•    Working with 3rd party billing websites
Desired
•    ERP SAP

•    Capacity to multitask
•    Ability to detect discrepancies
•    Ability to work independently
•    Ability to Problem Solve
•    Strong organization and ability to prioritize
•    Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
