What are we looking for

 

At Cosentino (www.cosentino.com) we are looking for a Regional Director to lead 8 of Distribution Centers and City Centers, located in the Atlantic Region. The Centers and City Centers are an example of Cosentino’s total commitment to its clients, providing them with exclusive and high-quality service and they combine the functions of sales, brand awareness, and customer relationship development. 

What you will do

 

As a Regional Director, you will be responsible for leading a regional sales team. We are looking for a proven sales leader with great energy, leadership, and initiative to drive team performance and sales of the region assigned. The Regional Director is responsible for managing multiple distribution Centers and City Centers, coordinating, and monitoring the activities of the team, executing global and local market initiatives, and tracking targets in their area in order to achieve successful financial results in the Region. The candidate will be a high-impact individual capable of driving outstanding business results and first-class customer development.
To be successful on this role you should have excellent sales, and communication skills, a wide knowledge of business functions, financial and budgeting skills and to be a strong leader.

 

Responsibilities:

 


Business Development


•    Managing multiple distribution Centers and City Centers being responsible of the sales and the results generated by those locations.
•    Work with General Managers of each distribution Center to develop and adhere to annual Center and City Center budgets.
•    Responsible for analysis, positioning, and executing in the builder, retailer, commercial and high-end residential market segments.
•    Grow sales and distribution of all the product lines in the region assigned through local teams.
•    Responsible for analysis, positioning, and executing all the initiatives for the different business segments. 
•    Focus promotional efforts on point of purchase displays, vignettes, and samples.
•    Perform market prospection and opportunity identification to increase market penetration.
•    Engage in regional relationships with industry partners and ensure Centers are embracing local chapters.
•    Marketing and co-advertising based on region for all brands with corporate coordination.
•    Maximize synergies between commercial and promotional opportunities.

 

KPI Management


•    Ability to understand, interpret and take decisions based on KPIs, P&L as well as key sales activity. 
•    Manage, monitor, and evaluate the results of the Centers and City Center growth and degree of achievement of the planned goals.
•    Stablish annual budgets and KPIs together with Corporate teams.

 

Team Management & Development


•    Train, coach and develop General Managers of each center to achieve consistent and sustainable growth.
•    Determine the correct sizing of the team.
•    Liaison for direct reports between Corporate Office and Centers by ensuring they receive information tools from Corporate and other resources that are necessary to implement strategy.
•    Lead the regional leadership team through an annual goals process.
•    Other duties assigned.

What you need to succeed

 

 

EXPERIENCE
Required
7+ years of sales experience
4+ years or more in the stone industry
4+ years of experience managing a team

 


EDUCATION
Required
Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field
Preferred:
MBA is a plus

 


KNOWLEDGE
Required
Ability to read and understand financial statements – general accounting rules
Desired
Knowledge of distribution processes and how they relate to cost and process efficiencies

 


SKILLS
Required
Communication: Oral & Written. Capacity to interact with multiple levels in the organization
Outstanding sales skills
Ability to read and understand financial statements
Clean driving record and a valid Driver’s license
Ability to lift and carry up to 40 lbs.
